Abstract
A radicular cyst is among the most prevalent odontogenic cysts in the jaw. It is inflammatory in nature and is associated with non-vital teeth or root stumps. It is most common in 1-2 decades, most common in males. It is usually asymptomatic and can only be diagnosed with a radiographic examination. The purpose of this study is to highlight the significance of a correct diagnosis and treatment plan in the management of cysts.
