Abstract
Sialolith is the most common obstructive pathology of the salivary gland. Submandidular glands are most commonly affected in its parenchyma. This case report describes a patient presenting with an unusually large submandibular gland sialolith, where sialography was performed locating the lesion. Etiology,
diagnosis and various treatment modalities available for management of salivary gland calculi depending on their site and size are also discussed in this case report.
